Drakes Beach Café has two new Managers, Ben Angulo and Jane Kennedy.  Ben Angulo, 22, is a graduate from UC Santa Cruz, and recent graduate from Cabrillo culinary school.  He brings a love for local products, a dedication to quality and young energy into the café and it’s menu.  Jane Kennedy, a Mills College student, is taking time off from school to explore the organic and local food growers and producers of Marin County.  You can contact Ben at: benangulo@gmail.com and Jane at: janekennedy99@yahoo.com

Drakes Beach Café is committed to serving a variety of food that travels less distance and supports the ideals of environmental sustainability and supports Marin County farmers and producers.  Together Jane and Ben are beginning to redevelop the café into a healthier and more environmentally friendly experience without leaving anyone behind.  Along with changes in the food, they will also be changing the workings of the café to make it better for the customer and the environment.  Some of our future goals include composting waste from the café and using recycled and biodegradable packaging.  Please check back often as our website will have some exciting new material in the coming months!
